The basic values of the cooperative include in particular mutual respect, trust, respect, decency, the creation of positive interpersonal relationships and adherence to high principles and standards of professionalism in relation to employees, customers, business partners, suppliers and the public.
Plzeňské dílo v.d. always complies with legal regulations and the principles of fair business dealings in all areas of its activities. Employees are always guided by the law and these principles in their work and conduct. The company and its employees adhere to the ethical values set out in this Code.
The Board of Directors of the cooperative is aware of its social responsibility and undertakes to follow these values and moral standards in its decision-making processes, and equally obliges the employees of Plzeňské dílo, v.d. to observe them in their daily activities.


1) Compliance with the rules

  • Pilsner Works shall comply with applicable laws, regulations and standards

2) Discrimination, human rights

  • Creating an optimal working environment with zero tolerance for discrimination of any kind
  • The cooperative ensures equal access to all employees regardless of their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, disability, sexual identity or age
  • we respect and uphold internationally recognised human rights
  • we reject the use of child labour, including indirectly through the purchase of goods and services
  • respect each other, the dignity of colleagues, privacy and personal rights
  • we do not tolerate any form of discrimination
  • any form of bullying, whether physical or psychological, is completely unacceptable
  • the cooperative does not tolerate manipulative behaviour or the spreading of rumours, unverified and incomplete information to the detriment of individuals
  • all our employees have the right to safe and healthy working conditions and to regular, fair and adequate pay for work performed

3) Corruption and dishonesty

  • We are against all forms of corruption and dishonesty, including extortion, bribery

4) Employee conduct

  • All employees are required to respect their colleagues, supervisors, customers, suppliers and third parties and to treat everyone fairly

5) Information handling, data protection

  • Internal information that employees work with is considered sensitive information and must be treated as such (must not be misused)
  • information we obtain from business partners (suppliers, customers) and third parties is considered confidential and may only be handled by competent employees and must not be misused

6) Safety at work

  • all employees are obliged to take care of their own safety and the safety and health of others
  • knowledge of basic legal obligations, OHS and other requirements is a prerequisite for employees

7) Environment

  • Plzeňské dílo complies with all legal regulations and guidelines relating to environmental protection
  • great emphasis is placed on water and energy management, emission reduction, proper waste management
